Michelle "Shelly" Regina Beer, 54, of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1963 to Robert A. and Judith A. (Mahlan) Bombka in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Shelly was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She worked at Gold Shield for 25 years and T N D Fireworks where she was a Certified Pyrotechnition and Shooter and a member of the Pyrotechnics Guild International.
She is survived by her mother, Judith Bombka of Decatur, IN; 1 son, Nathan (fiancé Patricia) Beer of Decatur, IN; 2 brothers, Tim (Sharon) Bombka of Decatur, IN and Nick (Cathay) Bombka of Decatur, IN; 1 sister, Renee Bombka of Decatur, IN and 4 grandchildren, Riley, Gage, Jace and Brooklynn and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The Rosary will be said at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 with visitation following from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. And from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Parish Hall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father Stephen Colchin will be officiating.
Burial will take place at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Tuition.
